2004 - On September 18, 2004 the next in a series of projects was completed: The Clocktower near the lake in the park Kailaka, one of the emblems of Pleven, has been rebuilt. Built in the 1950s, the clock now measures the time once again, while the eye-catching illumination at the Clock's top lights the lake's water.

2003 - On December 3, 2003 with the kind cooperation of the three Rotary clubs in Kaiserslautern, Germany, the club donated to the Municipality of Pleven a van (at the price of 10, 000 Euro) to be used for the needs of the disabled bound to wheelchairs.
